Our Cause

The Patty Boyko Foundation

Through the generous donations of the family and friends of Patty Boyko, the Well Being Retreat was created in 2012. The Well Being Retreat was designed as a peaceful escape for patients battling cancer. After the learning of the impact it has made on many patients’ journeys, we decided to expand beyond what was originally the massage therapy room. Over the years items such as a heated massage chairs have been added into the waiting room at Seidman Cancer Center – UH Parma, as well as a serene waterfall.

As the positive effect the retreat has on patients grows, as does our hope to grow as an organization. In 2017, in remembrance of Patty, our beloved dear mother, wife, daughter and friend, we established the Patty Boyko Foundation, a Non Profit – 501(c)(3). Patty would want nothing more than to provide love, peace and comfort to those battling the illness with which she suffered and it is our mission to see that through.

“To provide comfort and support to individuals coping with cancer in order to improve their quality of life.”
